Findings indicated that augmented reality technologies had a promising positive effect on the following domains in children and adolescents on the autism spectrum: <ul> <li>social interaction;</li> <li>social communication skills;</li> <li>verbal and nonverbal communication;</li> <li>facial emotion recognition;</li> <li>attention skills; and&nbsp;</li> <li>functional life.</li> </ul>
