<div>In a small number of studies, findings demonstrated an association between cognitive intervention and improvements in memory, attention, processing speed, knowledge and use of compensatory strategies, and quality of life in adults with multiple sclerosis. However, due to small sample sizes and heterogeneity in study design, these results should be interpreted with caution.</div>
<div>Only one study was located regarding cognitive interventions for individuals with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Within this study assistive technology for home automation control and communication was utilized, which yielded no significant improvements. Further research is indicated.</div>
