<div>Findings demonstrated that cochlear implant use was associated with improved speech recognition in noise for adults with single-sided deafness. Cochlear implant use was additionally associated with improvements in sound source localization, reductions in patient-reported tinnitus severity and loudness, and improvements in quality of life. Limitations to this review include heterogeneity between studies and small sample sizes. Further research is indicated.</div>
