<div>Speech therapy had a significant effect on sound pressure level in different tasks (mean difference = 0.87 to 1.79) for individuals with hypokinetic dysarthria secondary to Parkinson's disease. Of note, a majority of the studies included in this systematic review (11 out of 15 studies) investigated the effects of Lee Silverman's Voice Treatment in different modalities, with the remaining studies investigating other dysarthria treatments. <br><br>However, these findings are limited by heterogeneity between included studies and small sample sizes. Additional research is indicated. </div>
