<div>Interventions delivered by adults who received behavioral skills training had positive effects (i.e., reduction of problem behaviors or acquisition of language, academic, social, or play skills) in children on the autism spectrum. Fifteen out of 20 studies demonstrated improved outcomes for all child participants, while seven studies demonstrated improvements for only some of the participants.&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Limitations to this review include small sample sizes, the inclusion of anecdotal outcomes within some studies, and an overall lack of adolescent participants across studies.</div>
