<div>Overall, semantic treatments improved language skills in individuals with PPA. Maintenance was generally demonstrated "from 1 to 6 months post-therapy. Without ongoing practice, follow-up performance tended to decline under baseline levels for periods equal or greater than 6 months" (p. 549). Generalization results differed by PPA subtype with more generalization seen in both the non-fluent and logopedic variants compared to the semantic variant.</div>
