<div>Overall, there is insufficient evidence regarding cognitive retraining in individuals with secondary progressive MS. Two randomized control trials (one a replication of the other) examined cognitive retraining in a mixed population of individuals with secondary progressive MS and those with relapsing and relapsing remitting MS. Both reported positive effects, with the greatest benefit coming from interventions using context and imagery to improve new learning. Due to the lack of follow-up data, lack of functional outcomes, and data skewed toward individuals with relapsing remitting MS, further research is warranted.</div>
