Overall, review results suggest that SFA is an effective intervention that can elicit positive therapy outcomes. However, generalization to untreated items was limited. SFA may be more successful in individuals with moderate or mild fluent aphasia and results partially suggest that the total amount of treatment may impact outcomes.
