<div>Findings support that the Acoustic Voice Quality Index (AVQI) is a valid and reliable tool for the measurement of overall voice quality. Versions two and three of the AVQ1 demonstrate high pooled sensitivity (v02= 0.85, v03= 0.82) and pooled specificity (v02= 0.92, v03= 0.92). High heterogeneity was noted regarding sensitivity for both versions, while heterogeneity for versions two and three were moderate and low respectively. Gender was found to have no significant impact on AVQ1 measures, while mixed results were noted regarding the impact of age on AVQ1.</div>
