<div>Four studies reported emerging evidence that combined treatments of language therapy and tACS may improve language production in adults with chronic aphasia when compared to language therapy and sham stimulation. However, this finding was based on a small number of studies with reduced methodological rigor and small sample sizes. Additional limitations included poor reporting of treatment and patient characteristics and lack of research regarding the use of these treatments in people in the acute and subacute stages of recovery. Additional research is needed. </div>
