The majority of studies included examined the use of repeated reading interventions which incorporated corrective feedback, modeling and text preview strategies. Findings from this review revealed that students with or suspected of having reading, learning, or speech-language disorders demonstrated improved reading fluency with repeated reading intervention, however, no beneficial effects were noted on reading comprehension. Further research is needed to determine the components of intervention that are most effective for this population.
