<div>Out of 27 identified measures, only the Repetitive Saliva Swallow Test, the Swallowing Rating Scale, and the Dysphagia Severity Scale had moderate psychometric quality when used to measure swallowing ability in people with dementia. All other measures had low quality.&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>All measures used to rate biting/chewing ability (e.g., maximum occlusal force, palpation of masseter muscle tension) had low psychometric quality.<br><br></div> <div>See Table One (p. 6) of this open access article for the psychometric ratings for all investigated measures.&nbsp;<br><br></div>
