Due to the limitations of this review (e.g., small number of tools, lack of information on the quality of psychometric measures used to evaluate the tests, heterogeneity among the included studies) further research is warranted to identify neuropsychological instruments with suitable psychometric and psycholinguistics characteristics addressing the nature and extent of speech and language impairments in adults with PPA.
