The majority of the included studies (88%) reported that stand-alone social skills training programs improved various apsects of social functioning in children and adolescents with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD); however, findings were limited due to inconsistent results, a lack of maintenance at follow-up, and a lack of included studies with high methodological rigor.
