Meta-analysis of studies investigating the Singing Voice Handicap Index (SVHI-10) calculated a mean normative value of 8.38 (95% CI=7.43 to 9.34) for adult singers without voice disorders. The authors conclude that the "SVHI-10 can be used as a screening tool for a group of singers with dysphonia" (p. 808.e28).
