Video head impulse testing (vHIT) demonstrates high diagnostic value with sensitivity of 87.9% and specificity of 94.8% and positive predictive value of 85.3% and negative predictive value of 95.8% for identifying vestibular neuritis (VN) in individuals. The authors found that vHIT complements caloric and rotational tests for identifying VN.
