<div>For children and adolescents with brain tumors, ten studies investigated pyschometric properties of social competence measurement tools including the Social Skills Rating System (SSRS), the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL)/Youth Self-Report (YSR), the Pediatric quality of life inventory (PedsQL 4.0), and the Revised Class Play. This review found that the SPSS demonstrates the ability to measure social abilities in the pediatric brain tumor population. The CBCL, PedsQL 4.0, and Revised Class Play lacked data investigating their ability to measure social abilities in children with brain tumors. Overall, empirical data for responsiveness, test-retest reliability, and inter-rater reliability was lacking across measurement tools.</div>
