<div>Statistically similar results were achieved for telepractice and face-to-face language interventions for individuals with aphasia. These formats results in similar improvements in auditory comprehension, naming, aphasia severity, and generalization of language gains to untreated material.</div>

<div>Limitations of this review include small sample size, reduced methodological rigor, heterogeneity between studies, and a lack of valid and reliable assessment tools for generalization of communication across modalities and contexts. Further research is indicated.</div>
