Results demonstrated that responsive interaction interventions demonstrated positive effects for children birth to 6 with or at risk for developmental delays or disabilities. The interventions increased the adults' responsive behaviors to children and improved the children's social-communication, emotional, and cognitive skills. Responsive interaction interventions were reported to be effective across settings such as the home, clinics, and child care centers.
