"There is little evidence about which program is most effective and for whom. Only four studies provided statistical evidence of the effectiveness of the vocational enablement program. The methodological quality of these studies was poor" (p. 162). "Common elements included education, the provision of hearing aids, hearing assistive devices, communication training, information about workplace accommodations, and training in coping strategies" (p. 162).
