<div>SLP-delivered direct voice therapy with or without indirect components improved several aspects of voice quality in adults with bilateral vocal fold nodules. Additional findings included:</div> <div> <ul> <li>Two studies reported sustained improvements in visual-perceptual outcomes at 2-week or 6-month follow-up.</li> <li>Two studies reported comparable results between telepractice and face-to-face modalities of treatment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Due to heterogeneity between studies, no clear conclusions could be made regarding the impact of treatment intensity.&nbsp;</li> </ul> </div> <div>Additional research is indicated due to limited research, small sample sizes, low quality of evidence, and heterogeneity between studies regarding types of interventions utilized.</div>
