<div>Overall, VR-based cognitive rehabilitation therapies yielded statistically significant improvement across a variety of cognitive outcomes in adults with MCI. Findings suggest that VR-based interventions could be at least as effective as conventional, face-to-face cognitive training in improving global cognition and executive functioning deficits in this population. Limitations to this review include potential for publication bias, search strategy concerns, small sample sizes, and heterogeneity between studies. Additional research is indicated.</div>
