<div>Evidence on dosage or the effects of oral myofunctional exercises for individuals with oral facial motoricity for speech and swallowing is insufficient. Less than half of the single participant case studies reported improvements; however, the authors noted an inability to identify intervention causation for these outcomes.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Limitations of this review include a lack of clinical trials, small numbers of participants, and lack of intervention descriptions. Additional research is needed to investigate exercise physiology, muscle fatigue, and muscle activation interventions.</div>
