System-level barriers included social and community contexts, lack of access to qualified providers, physician dismissal, family awareness of results and need for follow-up, information gaps, and program quality.

Facilitators included provision of family support including care coordination, financial support (e.g. reimbursement or coverage for screenings), increasing service access (e.g. regional outpatient services, outreach, and tele-audiology), quality testing, and data fidelity and tracking across systems.
