Early intervention (e.g., parent coaching, Early Start Denver Model, community-based intervention, classroom-based intervention) was found to improve language, communication, and social skills for children on the autism spectrum. One study investigated telepractice and found a positive impact on communication outcomes; telepractice was shown to be as effective as face-to-face therapy. Telepractice and early parental education led to improved coping and stress levels.
