<div>Multicomponent, non-pharmacological interventions generally had positive effects (e.g., improved functional status, reduced restraints, more rapid cognitive improvement) for older adults with delirium. While both pharmacological and multicomponent non-pharmacological interventions seem to reduce delirium duration, pharmacological interventions may be more effective in controlling symptoms such as agitation.&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Limitations to this review include a small number of included studies and heterogeneity between studies. Additional research is indicated.&nbsp;</div>
