The majority of measures within this review, although grounded in theory, had limited psychometric data. Consequently, evidence is insufficient "to justify the use of discourse information measures as sole diagnostic or outcome measurement tools" (p. 689). Emerging psychometric evidence, however, suggests the following: <ul> <li>"Certain measures of [correct information units] (CIUs), (i.e., # CIUs but not % CIUs) and main concepts (again # rather than %) emerge as the most reliable; and</li> <li># CIUs and % main concepts (rather than # main concepts in this case) having the strongest known groups validity" (p. 704). &nbsp;</li> </ul>
