<div>Findings offered preliminary support that direct behavioral voice therapy may reduce severity of vocal tremor in individuals with hyperkinetic dysphonia. Behavioral treatment also improved patient-reported vocal function and auditory-perceptual, acoustic, and aerodynamic outcomes for individuals with dystonia secondary to hyperkinetic dysarthria. Improved outcomes were reported for behavioral therapy in combination with Botox injections versus Botox injections alone.<br><br>Additional research is indicated due to limited, low-quality studies</div>
