<div>"A brief cognitive assessment is aimed at the early evaluation of patients in the screening of dementia and/or history taking" (Level B Evidence; p. 63).</div>

<div>Cognitive assessment of individuals with dementia "should be performed with standardized tools and include memory, language, attention and concentration, judgment, calculation, executive functioning, and visuospatial abilities" (Level B Evidence; p. 63) and "should include a global cognitive measure and in addition more detailed testing of individual cognitive domains" (Level C Evidence; p. 82).</div>
