This Map includes research on cognitive impairments that arise in patients with cancer. Cancer-related cognitive impairments (CRCI) may arise due to the cancer itself, cancer-related treatments (e.g., chemotherapy, radiation, medications), or other factors such as the psychological impacts of cancer and cancer treatment. This page does not include information related to central nervous system cancers (i.e., cancers of the brain or spinal cord). Please see the Acquired Brain Injury Evidence Map for information regarding cognitive impairment secondary to brain tumor.
