SLPs face
the challenge of developing plans of care to address the evolving needs of
individuals with aphasia while incorporating research evidence and balancing
health care service delivery constraints. This webinar will use case studies to
model the use of a clinical decision-making framework and then allow you to
practice progressively applying the framework to patient examples.
Learning
Outcomes
You will
be able to:
- Identify impairment, activity,
and participation patient factors from the initial assessment that are used to
develop a plan of care using the clinical decision-making framework
- Develop at least two
evidence-based, patient-centered treatment activities using the clinical
decision-making framework
- Prioritize patient factors and
evidence-based practices to refine a plan of care for a given case using the
clinical decision-making framework
