In this
webinar for school-based SLPs, the presenters will discuss the unique needs of
middle- and high-school students with language disorders in the context of the
“hidden curriculum” of the secondary classroom. The webinar will address how SLPs
can empower successful language learning through contextualized language and
literacy instruction. The presenters will share strategies for creating
contextually based language goals grounded in the Common Core State Standards
(CCSS) and other state standards as well as practical ideas for both progress
monitoring and dynamic, integrated intervention.
