Artist Statement

This artwork reflects the beauty of sound, reminding the viewer how life gains extra hues and dimension through the sense of hearing. Think of that song that transports you to a favorite memory, making you feel as though you’re right back in that moment. Or the morning chatter of birds. Or the sound of your child’s musical performance. Sounds are precious; they bring us joy, keep us safe, and connect us to life in meaningful ways. —Lenka Knoetze
