Speech Sound Disorders in Special Populations

You will be able to:
- compare young cochlear implant users and their same-age peers who are typically developing in terms of consonant acquisition patterns and accuracy in the initial and final positions in words
- list at least three considerations for bilingual intervention and collaboration
- identify the phonological deviations of children with Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, hearing impairments, craniofacial anomalies, childhood apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorder, and stuttering
