Head and neck lymphedema is too often under-recognized and inadequately managed. This session discusses the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system; examines the etiologies behind head and neck lymphedema following head and neck cancer treatment; and explains strategies for identifying, evaluating, and treating patients with head and neck lymphedema.
