This SIG 11 Perspectives activity addresses the productivity impact of SLPs supervising
student clinicians in medical settings and explores graduate students' perceptions of
their experiences participating in simulated learning experiences during the pandemic. In
the first article, the authors investigate whether SLPs providing one-on-one clinical
education and supervision in medical settings negatively impacts their productivity. The
authors in the second article examine graduate students' perceptions of satisfaction,
confidence, and interpersonal skill development during simulated experiences amid
COVID-19.
