The three articles included in this SIG 18 activity represent the diverse work settings and
populations served through telepractice. The first article by Sundarrajan and Franco
evaluates an in-person and telepractice parent-mediated intervention for autistic children
called Project SKILLS (Skills and Knowledge for Language Learning Success). Project
SKILLS demonstrates similar progress through both modalities with some advantages
for families participating via telepractice. The second article by Hatcher and Weiler
investigates the administration of the SCAN–3 for Adolescents and Adults: Tests for
Auditory Processing Disorders (SCAN-3:A) via in-person and telepractice. The
preliminary findings provide accommodation considerations for remote screening of
APD. The third article by Weatherill, Tibus, and Rodriquez describes the Virtual-
Appropriate Decision Approach (VADA), a systematic problem-solving approach for
conducting aphasia assessments via telepractice.
